Come and join a guided tour on four wheels to explore the city of Salo! The tour will take you around central Salo and Halikko areas. You will learn about both ancient and more recent history of Salo, from the medieval times to the emergence of the electronics industry, with a glimpse into the future and the forthcoming housing fair. You will also hear about the vibrant cultural life of Salo, both past and present.
Around Halikko, you’ll hear about the numerous manor houses and the old church. We’ll make a stop at Rikalanmäki Hill for a quick look at the ancient trail as well as refreshments.
The tour is suited for both visitors and residents who wish to learn more about their current home town.

Duration: 3 hours.
Dress for the weather and wear appropriate walking gear.
The tour is not entirely accessible (Rikalanmäki Hill and ancient trail), but is also suitable for those with limited mobility.
Participation fee
€ 30 per person – book your place in advance in this Johku online shop before Tuesday Aug 11 at 5 p.m.
The tour will take place as long as there are at least 20 participants. Maximum group size: 45 participants.
Cancellation policy
Your booking is binding – tickets are non-refundable.
If the tour has to be cancelled by the organiser (force majeure, e.g. illness or for safety reasons such as severe thunder), all payments will be refunded.

The tour starts and ends at Helenankatu 3, 24100 Salo (next to the “Farmos” parking lot).
